Simple Plan

Tour of Camden - London - UK
27th januari 2008

turtleBarfly.
The first of three shows and to be honest I didn't know what to expect. I have been in the Barfly before and I know it's a small venue. To my surprise they only did songs from the first album. It was actually fun because the majority of those songs have not been played live for ages. Songs like "My alien" and "One day". It was fun and It looked like the boys were enjoyign themselfs on stage aswell. David kept on about percentages, and I still dont know why.

I must admit I didn't like this venue very much. You have to be lucky to actually see the boys on stage. This time they did an acoustic set from songs of their 2nd album, like "Perfect World" and "Welcome to my life". It was suppose to be from the 2nd album only, but half way through the set, they decided to play some new songs aswell, which is always good to hear.

This venue is awesome, I had a brilliant view, mainly because I decided to stand on the stairs at the side. I could see the whole crowd. Simple Plan did a full set with songs from all the albums. The crowd went wild, especially when the song "Jump" came. I have never seen a Simple Plan crowd like this before, it was awesome. Well done to the Camden Crew.

I think to be honest three shows in one days was a bit much, but I can say aswell that it was well worth it. It was just a shame you could not really talk to the boys, as they were rushing about, getting to the next venue.

The best out of the three shows for me, has to be the Barfly. I just love the venue and I loved hearing some songs, that I have not heard for ages.
